Readings

What can you expect when you ask for a reading? First of all allow me to correct a misconception about readings.

Most people imagine that they are going to get a “Written in Stone” view of their future. NOT SO, WHAT WE CANNOT CHANGE NECESSARILY ARE THE EVENTS THAT ARE OCCURING OR ARE ABOUT TO OCCUR. What we CAN change are our reactions to these events, so what the cards will show is what is about to happen, but they will leave it up to you to decide what you will do in the situation. After all we are all in control of our own destiny.

Having said that, a good clairvoyant reader will, in the first couple of spreads be able to tell you about the events surrounding you, a fair bit about you too and about those around you and can give you an objective view of your circumstances, something very difficult to achieve if you are embroiled in your situation.

Next he or she will go deeper into the cards and will be able to tell you more or less how things are going to evolve and give you their considered opinion of what could be the best approach to the events. What he or she will not tell you is how you should react, that is left entirely up to the client.

My clients often tell me that it is a relief to have someone who knows nothing about them able to see what is going on, with no other means than by focusing on the cards.

Obviously there is always a margin of error, after all we are all human and it is normal to err. Many things can influence a reader, feeling off colour, misinterpreting what we see, many factors can infuence us. It is considered excellent if we achieve an 80% accuracy rate.

The other area for error is in the timing of events, it is often dificult when doing a reading to discern whether I am looking at something with my eyes, with binoculars or even with a telescope. If I could answer with accuracy the sixty-four thousand dollar question WHEN? I would be a millionairess and have a waiting list of clients into the middle of next year!

The problem with time as perceived by clairvoyants is that instead of being a line along which we move, it is more like an eternal present and boundaries as such do not exist, therefore trying to judge the When is virtually impossible.

Perhaps the main advantage to having a reading is in the saying, “Forwarned is Forearmed” as it gives you an added dimension to your outlook and can enable you to plan better how to act in given situations.

Having been in this profession for nearly forty years perhaps I overstress the fact that you, the client, have the reins of your own destiny in your hands and must act according to your inner guidance and only use a reading as a guide line, not as an absolute.

Normally, if you wish to ask about someone else a photo is helpful as it gives the reader a point of focus, otherwise they have to choose a card to signify the person, and if they choose wrong there will naturally be mistaken interpretation.
